Deliverables

What we created

The suites from above, each one with its own pool cut into the roofline
Out through the suite door to the private pool with the island falling away behind it
The breezeway held in shadow, one chair at the far end in the light
Against the slatted timber with the sun printing bars across her back
A towel left over the rail, the planting coming up through the light behind it
A glass lifted against the valley, the sea flat along the top of the frame
The robe hung ready on the rail in the warm dark of the dressing alcove
A book held straight up over the face, still in bed, coffee down on the floor
Hands turning a small cup over the sheets, everything else out of focus
Sat on the pool edge with both feet in and a cup in hand
The Flame cocktail list close enough to read the paper it is printed on
A coupe held up under the leaves, the drink catching the last of it
At the table once the lamps have come on, the planting closing the terrace in
A drink halfway to the mouth, the blocks and the olives behind going soft
The cellist playing out under the trees, read past someone stood closer in
Higher up and wider, the property set into the plain with the mountains behind it
Sat cross-legged on the daybed with the headphones on, the light coming through the slats behind

The brief

How we approached it

Commissioned by SWOT Hospitality, we returned to Olea All Suite Hotel in Zakynthos for a new visual series. The assignment was the tranquil atmosphere of the property, captured through photography and a set of short video edits covering its key spaces, from the bars and restaurants to the suites and the shared areas. The approach was to reflect how seamlessly Olea sits in nature, while showing the character of each setting on its own terms.

Laughing at the window with a hand pushed back through her hair
The terrace under the pergola, rattan chairs pulled around and nobody in them yet
The cellist working through a piece under the trees while we watch from closer in
Two glasses of white and a folder set down on the warm stone at the pool edge
The house towel folded over the timber rail with the sun coming through the slats
