What we created

The terrace rail and the timber ERINGER sign, with the snow peaks running away behind
The mountains cut into strips by a half-closed blind, first light on the far summit
Reading in an armchair by the window, a latte and something sweet on the table
Coffee and a pastry under a glass cloche, set down on an upholstered stool
The reception desk lit warm across an empty lobby, one figure waiting on the sofa
Split logs stacked into a niche beside the framed panels and the ceramics shelf
Sitting with a drink in the lounge while someone crosses the frame in a blur
The restaurant down its length, wall lights along the timber and the valley at the far end
Reading in the wood-lined room with the desk lamp on and the light going outside
The cut ends of a stacked wall of firewood, close enough to count the rings
Sunrise catching the top of the range while the whole valley below is still dark
On the terrace in a white beanie and a heavy knit, the ERINGER sign on the wall behind
The snow-loaded roof and the sign, the valley and the far peaks opening out beyond the rail
Helmet and goggles on, board under the arm, heading out past the sign
The husky team stretched out down the track, shot from the back of the sled

The brief

How we approached it

Focusing on social, we created lifestyle photography and several short form video concepts to position Eringer two ways at once: as a base for skiing, and as somewhere to unwind, with the baths, the dining and the views across the Valais. The goal was for neither side to read as an afterthought to the other.
